PIN’s representatives attended conference “Migration – Trauma in Transition: Exploring socio-traumatic roots of dealing with refugees” which took place at the Faculty of Philosophy from 21st to 28th of September. It was our honor to be invited as speakers on the topic of mental health at this conference. European mental health experts, together with relevant experts from other professions involved in the support system for refugees, participated in a variety of lectures, courses, discussion groups and fishbowl plenaries. The main aim of the conference was to develop the international dialogue in order to generate practical recommendations for adapting and advancing support system for refugees on the global level. Created recommendations will be presented to stakeholders and decision makers from several countries at the event which will take place in December in Berlin.
It was our pleasure and honor to participate in the creation of recommendation as well as to be invited as experts to the upcoming event in Berlin!
