Today is the World Mental Health Day. On this occasion, we would like to remind you that mental health is not only about diagnosis and treatment; prevention and psychological well-being are also incredibly important!
PIN works all year around on improving mental health of everyone, especially the people from vulnerable groups. This is why we organize many activities to support prevention and psychological wellbeing. We have psycho-educational and occupational workshops, support groups for people with diabetes, support groups for helpers, and different recreational activities. For example, today we are organizing a cruise on Sava and Danube rivers for refugees in Serbia, as part of the Help on the route project, funded by EU and implemented by Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia, Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund and Novosadski humanitarni centar NSHC, as well as the part of the project Building together – Community Monitoring and Advocacy, funded by EU and implemented by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, NGO Atina and Macedonian Lawyers Association.
Today’s the day to remind yourself that you should do something for your mental health every day of the year!
