With the support of Institute for Psychology, University of Belgrade, we conducted a research assessing radicalization and violent extremism among youth, and related protective and risk factors. Based on study results, we have created a psychoeducational program aiming to prevent and counter radicalization and violent extremism among youth in Serbia. The program is currently being implemented in several high schools in Serbia. The research report and psychoeducational program were developed within the project “Youth for Change: Building the resilience of Serbian youth through engagement, leadership and development of their cognitive and socio-emotional skills” which is being implemented under the STRIVE Global program, funded by EU, with the support of Hedayah.
