With regard to the World Mental Health Day, as well as to the successful completion of the action under the project “Building together – Community Monitoring and Advocacy” funded by The European Union and implemented by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Atina – Citizens’ Association for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and all Forms of Gender-based Violence, and Macedonian Lawyers Association, PIN organized event “Building together – value and strength of local community”. We raised awareness about the needs of refugees in Serbia and challenges they are facing during their stay in our country, as well as about the importance of their integration into our society. This was a valuable opportunity for the students of Grammars School Zemun to meet our refugee beneficiaries firsthand, spend some quality time together, exchange thoughts and experiences, as well as to raise awareness about the importance of joint efforts on prevention and improvement of mental health.
