With high school students about the life situation of their refugee peers during the refuge

By November 6, 2018News

Within the project Help on the route, the PIN psychologist organized a lecture and talked with high school students of the Grammar school Zemun on the topic of the life situation of their refugee peers during the refuge, in order to raise awareness among youth about the current refugee situation in Serbia, support mechanisms and assistance, and, what we can do as individuals or a community.

We thank the Student Parliament of the Grammar school Zemun for the invitation, it was a great pleasure to work with young people, genuinely interested for the topic, that asked a number of important questions and gave many suggestions relevant for working with refugees that also included their potential individual contribution. They expressed a wish for joint attendance of workshops with refugees currently residing in Serbia, which makes us very happy. Big congrats for these students!

Special thank to the Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia, the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund and the Novi Sad Humanitarian Center, who, with the support of the European Union, implement the project “Help on the Route”
