PIN organizes excursion in Kosutnjak for girls and women from Afghanistan and Cuba

Spending time together in nature, chatting, picnic and various games such as ‘between two fires’ and badminton, are common ways of relaxing from everyday life. These activities can make us laugh and recharge us with positive energy. Around 20 girls and women from Afghanistan and Cuba had an opportunity to enjoy a one-day excursion in Košutnjak organized by PIN – Psychosocial Innovation Network, with the support from UNHCR Serbia.

Language classes in Serbian for Arabic, Farsi and Spanish speaking beneficiaries

With the support of UNHCR Serbia, Serbian language classes for Arabic, Farsi and Spanish speaking beneficiaries are being conducted at PIN – Psychosocial Innovation Network premises on a weekly basis.
The classes are conducted in beneficiaries’ native languages by expert philologists who are native Serbian speakers. The courses are designed in a way that both grammar and conversational skills are covered. In this way, attendants get the opportunity to learn about the nature of Serbian language and conversational culture, compare it to their own and thus create a solid basis for gaining a more in-depth knowledge while everyday communication is practised through the various types of simple dialogues and short texts. The groups are generally showing enthusiasm and willingness to develop their Serbian language skills in order to integrate more easily into Serbian society.
